They're all just a bunch of slick ricks.
At least a greezy slimeball car salesman doesn't make you ditch your family.
isn't this the case, when one reflects upon the whole scope of how the wts.
publishing organization conducts and operates itself ?.
the way they are to dress.

i've had a quick glance through the july 15th watchtower, and at first reading there seems nothing too dramatic to report.. the title of the first article "let jehovah guide you to true freedom" seemed ironic to say the least.
not surprisingly, the way you get more freedom is by relinquishing it entirely to the watch tower society.
there is also a bizarre statement in the very first paragraph of the article on page 7 (bold highlighted remarks are mine):.
I just love how wash-towel writers are so arrogant that they completely ignore the fact that there are two sides to every story; you know 'cause no one is gonna see it from another point of view or apply it to them.
yeah in the section on attending the convention, you will find this gem:.
"therefore, we should give attention to our dress and grooming while in the convention city, including when we check in at the hotel.
arriving in shorts and a t-shirt would not reflect dignity.".
Something else that bothers me is when they cover these parts some jackass always comments on how each culture has different standards for dress and following those would be respectful of the local culture.
oookaaay?
So we need to follow the "worlds" culture? I thought it was about jayhoover? But apparently not.
And, since when does American culture "dress up"? How many professionals stay in their business attire after work? None, they change and put on more comfortable casual clothes; so if that's the case, aren't witlesses offending the local culture by dressing the way they do?
No matter which way you slice it, their advice reflects badly upon them; besides I don't think they realize that the looks they're getting are not admiration but confused satirical stares.
forget go to bags!

Were gonna need a lot of foil; remember we're supposed to put on the complete suit of armor.

Most of the conned-vetions are in the summer, so what are we supposed to wear, woolen coats, long underwear and Ug boots?
They just want you to arrive in dress that makes you ready to do their bidding (for free), because it's kinda hard to scrub toilets and mop up puke wearing stilettos or flip flops.
Oh, and don't forget to leave your I'M and a-hole badge on your stuffy uncomfortable unattractive clothes when you leave the conned-vetion. This way everyone will know to stare, point and laugh, and will alert restaurant wait staff that the demanding bad tippers are in.
Controlling and going beyond the things taught? No not at all.
the april 1, 1986, watchtower, questions from readers is still the basis upon which jehovah's witnesses see fit to act against so-called apostates.
it is, however, completely shot through with discrepancies and weak arguments.
all of these can be used to build a solid defence.
Ding I agree, in a JC you only have two choices:
Kiss ass and grovel
OR
Leave/get booted
The WT doesn't care if you believe or not, they only care if you're following along and doing what they say.
I wish I could apologize to all my now deceased non-witless family for any mistreatment on the part of my witless family or myself.
I especially wish I could apologize to my DF grandmother who saw the BS all along.
i am happy today.
a few days ago i spoke with my sister and she brought up how some friend of her son's has been bashing the wt.
she was asking me what i knew about the nwt and russell and pyramidology.
perhaps i've just been logging on at the right time but i've seen no insane eschatology or prophecy from our resident messiah/prophets and of course, rick isn't spamming the board and everything just seems .
.
well, nice.. i like it.. .
Maybe nice is contagious and we've all caught it from each other.
So it's all of you faults I have aposta-nooties (nice apostate cooties).
It's kinda hard to see any light when you live up your own ass.
